Context

Oliver Wyman was preparing an internal event centered on Transformation, a key strategic focus for the firm and a mindset that would shape future ways of working. The project called for a new PowerPoint template and visual concept that could communicate key business updates while inspiring employees around this new way of thinking.

The butterfly became the central metaphor, representing metamorphosis and the continuous journey of change. The challenge was translating that familiar symbol into something that felt sophisticated, contemporary, and authentic to a global management consulting firm.

Rather than drawing inspiration from the butterfly itself, I built the visual language around its texture, movement, layers, and energy. The concept wasn't illustrated. It was expressed through the essence of metamorphosis.
